Will Thomas cabin is named for the only white Cherokee Chief to ever live, who owned this farm. This newly remodeled 2 bedroom, 2 bath cabin fronts on the most popular bike route in the area ( an 8+ mile loop) plus 2 bicycles & helmets provided. The cabin is the best location to access Bryson City, Cherokee, and Dillsboro to visit tourist attractions. Watch the train traveling daily from Bryson City to Dillsboro from your own patio, enjoy outdoor picnics, or just rock on the patio and savor the pastoral view.

Inside, the greatroom has plenty of seating for visiting, enjoying the fireplace, eating or watching TV.

One bedroom has a queen bed set, and the other bedroom has a double bed set, both with wonderful hand-made quilts.

The bathroom has a large lighted shower, ample bath linen, shampoo, etc., as well as a hair dryer.

The kitchen is a cooks delight, with stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster oven, and washer/ dryer. Includes dishes, pots, pans, utensils, even a crock pot for dinner after a busy day exploring the Smokes. There's even a popcorn popper!

The house has central heat and air, ceiling fans, and a fireplace.

Before you pack up the car and head for the mountains, know that when we say mountains, we really mean it!

Downtown Bryson City has an elevation of 1,752 feet, so think of this as a starting point. The majority of our cabins will have a higher elevation than this. This means that our roads- both state and private- will be steeper, narrower, and curvier than you may be use to driving. Also, you should expect to encounter gravel roads. Consider it part of our rural mountain charm!
