Downtown Bryson City has an elevation of 1,752 feet, so think of this as a starting point. The majority of our cabins will have a higher elevation than this. This means that our roads- both state and private- will be steeper, narrower, and curvier than you may be used to driving. Also, you should expect to encounter gravel roads. Consider it part of our rural mountain charm!
Here at Yellow Rose, your safety is our priority. If a cabin requires 4-wheel, front-wheel, or all-wheel drive to access it, it will be listed in the description. If bringing or riding motorcycles, please call and ask for motorcycle friendly properties.

It was awesome. Very clean and stocked well. Great location.
One of the best VRBO homes that we've stayed in. Very clean, immaculate decor and furnishings, views from almost every room. Wonderful screened porch off the living room. The home also provides great privacy being one of only a few homes in a gated community on the top of the mountain. The drive up is something that Floridians aren't used to, but we did it several times and got used to the steep grades. Overall a top-tier rental experience!
What a View is the perfect name for this lodge!! Incredible vista that changes throughout the day with the position of the sun. The home was well furnished with beautiful natural photography! Eat out in nearby towns or stay and cook dinner in a well stocked kitchen. Lots of room for multiple guest with comfortable sleeping. We look forward to returning!
Just a spectacular place, beautiful location and home is ideal for any family. Beds are so comfortable and everything about the home is done to perfection. You can enjoy the serenity of the mountain while really relaxing in this fantastic home.
What A View! Words can't describe this magical place. Everything was perfect....excellent directions, spotless, well appointed and a view that is unsurpassed This was the perfect place for four sisters to spend a week making more family memories. The view is truly a "Masterpiece". We shall return!
Beautiful, clean property. The view is unlike anything I’ve ever seen. The house is beautifully furnished and has everything you will need for your stay.
This place and all of its beauty is simply unmatched. The view is TRULY as spectacular as it is described - daytime shows a 3D perspective as far as the eye can see overlooking valleys and lower mountain tops and at night - you literally feel like you can reach out and touch the stars. It's the kind of place you don't want to leave. The furnishings are gorgeous, beautiful wildlife photography throughout, comfortable beds, and all the amenities you'd ever need or want. Can't wait to book again with the kids and grands to come experience the Polar Express and everything else Bryson City and its surrounding areas has to offer.
A perfect getaway in the mountains with an amazing view, this property was immaculate with plenty of space to gather the group or to have some alone time. Looking forward to a return visit!
What a great family trip! The lodge was cozy and well appointed. Beautiful wood throughout, and remote controlled fireplace, and that Nat Geo view! My wife and I agreed that there are really 2 amazing views. The Great Smokys by day and the Milky Way at night. There are no roads in sight, so the home is really peaceful. Our little boy had a ball in Bryson City. He played in a river, got to "drive" his first train, and ate our ice cream. Staying here with my family brought out some really special moments.
I highly recommend it for families or friends looking to hang out with a million dollar view.
