Enjoy over 2,200 sq ft of log cabin living with amazing views of the smoky mountains. Words can’t do it justice on a morning when the clouds are hovering at your doorstep, or in the evening relaxing and enjoying a beautiful sunset. Simply sit back and enjoy all that nature has to offer. The most difficult decision you will need to make is from which porch to sit and enjoy the views!
As you enter the gated community, there is a tranquil stream along the roads edge. If you are quiet, you may see rabbits, turkeys and an occasional deer. Upon arrival, as you pull into the driveway, you are greeted by the mountains. Outside there is a picnic table, charcoal grill, and a firepit that is perfect to roast marsh mellows.
This quaint log cabin sleeps eight people (one King bed and three Queen beds) and has views from all levels. The basement has sleeping quarters with a stone fireplace, and it’s own wine tasting room with a view. On the main floor is the kitchen, eating room with a stone fireplace, and a nice size living room. Upstairs you will find two additional bedrooms. Each floor has a bathroom with a shower, sink and toilet. If you have a larger crowd to accommodate (up to 16 people) you can rent this property and the cabin next door (also named Lookout Lodge, Property # 580 Lookout Point) with the same amazing views.
Location is everything. Grocery store, downtown Bryson City, and Deep Creek are approximately 15 minutes away.

Before you pack up the car and head for the mountains, know that when we say mountains, we really mean it!
Downtown Bryson City has an elevation of 1,752 feet, so think of this as a starting point. The majority of our cabins will have a higher elevation than this. This means that our roads- both state and private- will be steeper, narrower, and curvier than you may be use to driving. Also, you should expect to encounter gravel roads. Consider it part of our rural mountain charm!
