Before you pack up the car and head for the mountains, know that when we say mountains, we really mean it!

Downtown Bryson City has an elevation of 1,752 feet, so think of this as a starting point. The majority of our cabins will have a higher elevation than this. This means that our roads- both state and private- will be steeper, narrower, and curvier than you may be use to driving. Also, you should expect to encounter gravel roads. Consider it part of our rural mountain charm!

If bringing or riding motorcycles, please call and ask for motorcycle friendly properties. Deposits, payments and/or fees for reservations cancelled less than 30 days prior to arrival date are non-refundable, but may be applied to a future reservation within a year without penalty. (must apply to same cabin) (subject to availability)
Refunds are not provided for nights removed less than 30 days prior to guest arrival.

Property was very nice. Has everything you need. Couldnt ask for a better location. Less than 2 miles from grocery store and even closer to downtown Bryson City. Steep drive but still worth it!

Very clean, comfortable vacation rental. We enjoyed the open floor plan, spacious living areas, and deck with hot tub. Nice view from the deck. They aren't kidding about the steep driveway. Backing out can be a little intimidating at first. We loved everything about it and would stay here again. Only complaints: 1)there were no hot pads/potholders 2)we had to pack our trash out with us to avoid a $20 fee because although the checkout instructions said there was a trash can provided, there wasn't one.

This was the perfect cabin/location for our family to stay after riding the Polar Express. It is spacious and clean. The owners called to check on us after arrival and were very hospitable. Thanks for the family holiday memories!

Black Bear Crossing was great. The view was mama love the open concept and wanted to stay. It was close to everything we wanted to do. The only thing was that the showers has 2 temps it was either cold or hot, we could never get a warm shower. I give our experience 9 out 10 because of the showers.

The layout of the cabin was just as described. The view was gorgeous and it is only 1 1/2 miles from downtown Bryson City so the location was excellent and it was very clean. Management was great and easy to deal with. The cabin has character, and we would definitely stay here again simply because of the view and location of the cabin to Bryson City.
