Before you pack up the car and head for the mountains, know that when we say mountains, we really mean it!

Downtown Bryson City has an elevation of 1,752 feet, so think of this as a starting point. The majority of our cabins will have a higher elevation than this. This means that our roads- both state and private- will be steeper, narrower, and curvier than you may be use to driving. Also, you should expect to encounter gravel roads. Consider it part of our rural mountain charm!

We loved the bear crawl cabin! It was big enough for everyone to have their own space, but still be close enough to hear. We loved our surprise guests!(2 cows!) The location was great! We got to experience different towns because we were in the middle of everything!!

overall the place was nice. was never able to get but one tv, to work. upstairs bathroom has very little water pressure. could use some instructions on how to operate tvs.

We had a wonderful time. It was a perfect place for a family of 7. The hot tub, fire pit and game room were the highlights for the family. The only suggestion would be to advise guests of the steepness of the driveway which requires low drive and some maneuvering to get up.

We have two children at Western Carolina. Came up for our sons 21st Birthday. We have a large family and the cabin more than accommodated us. It was convenient to Cherokee. I have two negatives its the road to the cabin it is very steep and narrow (enough room for 1 car). We had no idea what we would do if we encountered someone coming in the opposite direction and there are two cabins at the top of the hill. I recommend bringing your 4 wheel drive vehicle.Also Could not use the Hot tub water was green. Despite these minor inconveniences Everything was nice, cabin well stocked and clean. We had a great time and made some great family memories

WE enjoyed our stay in Bryson City at the Bear Crawl Inn. The cabin was excellent, very clean, and very comfortable. It was well-stocked. It was about at 15 minute drive to Harrah's Cherokee Casino and 5 minutes from downtown Bryson City. I expected the cabin to be more secluded but was located close to another cabin-which the owners were friendly when we met them. The drive was narrow and steep-one of our guests had a small car and had trouble getting to the cabin. Also, the water had a metallic-like smell to it. Overall, we were very satisfied and will most likely stay here again in the future during another trip to the casino!

I will start off by saying, I’m not the type to leave negative reviews, but I feel this was needed. The home is very nice with lots of room and plenty of outside space, but the driveway is steep, we are very thankful snow had melted by time we arrived considering we specifically called about the driveway. Had it snowed recently, I do not feel we would have made it up without 4wd. When we arrived, there were dirty towels left on top of the dryer and dishes in the dishwasher. Also, when we took the trash out for the first time, we realized the trash can was full. The beds are not comfortable and squeak very badly. The walkway up to the home needs to be lighted and have a handrail of some kind. It is very dangerous to navigate at night.

Omg if you’ve never been to the this cabin, you should definitely go! We had so much fun here! Everything was so beautiful and well kept! The view the rooms omg! Everything you need was in this cabin for u and it’s only 13 mins away from the casino! Thank you for the experience we will definitely look you up again for our next lil getaway
